Colonial Story

Lisa Hammond- City Planner and Architect

Freedomville is a small little town, but it’s where I raised my 4 daughters.  Let me tell you the story.  I was born and raised in Laurson, England as an only child.  I grew up and became an architect and a city planner.  I married Mark Hammond and had a daughter.  We named her Jamie Hammond.  But there was a problem.  England was a big town.  It was already built.  I couldn’t get a job in England!  My family considered moving to Quebec, a town in the French Colonies, but it didn’t have good schooling for our children.  Finally, we decided to move to Freedomville.  The trip there was horrible!  I had three babies!  Ada, Lilly, and Lauran.  In order from oldest to youngest it would be Jamie, Lauran, Ada, and Lilly.  I found a job in Freedomville, and we lived happily in Apple Orchard Cottage.

So that’s the story of my life.
