Banner Questions
One of the first key steps
in the creation of a portfolio is the designing of a banner question.
Using the journey analogy, it is difficult to plan a trip if you don't
really know where you are going. The banner question gives
you the destination and direction. These key questions should then be
linked to the target domains that are applicable for
the evaluation.
Both the banner questions and
the domains indicate our key goal, to help other educators and
staff at our school to become more proficient, confident, and
consistent with the integration of technology within the classroom.
This was our objective before "the Great Change", and it
was our objective after it. What we did have to adjust were the means
or methods through which we attempted to reach that
objective. But I am getting ahead of myself here. Let us go back
to our
original plan.
