Bush. I’m the president of the U.S.A. I want you to know about me. I
was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on July 6, 1946.
When I was 8 yrs. old and my sister Robin was 4 yrs. old she died. In 1948 my father became President. I always wanted to be like my father because he was a war hero and President.
I used to be governor of Texas and work in the oil mines but now I am president. I also started the “No Child Left Behind” legislation and signed a contract to let workers keep more of their money. As you know, on September 11th, the terrorists crashed the planes into the Twin Towers. I had to work very hard to keep America safe from terrorists. When I made speeches I stayed calm and I am very compassionate so people like me .I have been successful as a governor and president. I have had lots of hard times but the hardest was keeping America safe from terrorism. I think that people should never give up.
