Rosa Parks by B.H.
Hello I’m Rosa Parks. I was born Feb. 4m 1913 in Tuskegee, Alabama. My
grandpa and I stayed up all night because of the KKK (Ku Klux Klan).
They were a group of white people who wanted black people to be slaves
so they went around bombing and breaking into houses. There was a
teenage girl that refused to give up her seat to a white man I followed
her great example.
I
have been through successes and failures.
I had many jobs but I am known to work for civil
rights. I stopped segregation of the buses by boycotting
them. Also I didn’t give up my seat while I was riding one.
I stopped segregation on the buses. I am a strong-willed leader.
Also I like to sew and read. The greatest problems I had were
segregation, the KKK, and going to jail for not giving up my seat. I
would tell the students of today to never use violence to settle a
problem and if something is unfair then try to fix it. Always treat
people fairly.
