Dear students and parents,
We are delighted to inform you that we will be having a school play
this year. We’ve chosen “Into the Woods.” We chose this musical because
of the high level of interest of the materials. It will be a production
that will offer many dramatic and visual opportunities for interested
students. Children who would prefer to work on a set, scenery or back
stage instead of acting will have opportunities available to them, as
well. Information will follow in October pertaining to auditions for
roles. Some roles in this show include, but are not limited to:
Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Witch, Prince, Baker, Baker’s Wife,
and the Cow.
Interested students will need to complete and return
the bottom portion of this document by Thursday September 28th.
Commitment to auditions, practices, dress rehearsals
and performances is required. Rehearsals could be scheduled for both
mornings and afternoons twice a week starting in October and continuing
through February. Audition and performance dates and times are:
October 9th after school- auditions
October 10th before school auditions
March 27th and 28th – 7:00 pm – evening performances for parents and
friends
Call backs to be scheduled as needed
More information will follow once we begin auditions. We look forward
to an exciting, challenging, and FUN experience and the opportunity to
work with each and every one of you.
