These pictures are from the 2002 Commencement for the Bahai Institute of Learning in Columbia, Maryland. I ran out of film before the dancing/musical/acting part of the program began. Also the lighting was not good for many of the pictures taken of the little kids. That's why they are not here. I put up all of the pictures that I had which turned out. I have to learn to keep the sun behind me when I'm taking photographs. By the way, two upcoming events are taking place that will involve our community. First, from June 24 through June 27 we are participating in an interfaith program at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center. You need to register to go, but it is completely free. Please contact me if you need any more information. Also on the last Sunday of the month, June 30, the youth and other interested Bahais will be helping to serve food at the Elizabeth House in Laurel. The Elizabeth House is an interdenominational, totally voluntary organization that serves meals daily to those who are struggling. It is a wonderful opportunity to serve. Once again, please contact me if you are interested. I'm beginning to put up pictures from the InterFaith Program. Click here if you would like to see them.
