Fredrick Douglass
By S.M.
Hello I am
someone. But sadly I won’t tell whom. I was born in February 1817. I
was born in a town in Easton. My dad had died and I was only a few
weeks old when I was separated from my mother. I was looked after by my
grandma. I was about six years old when my grandma took me to a
plantation and just left me there. I was betrayed. Then I was sent to
Baltimore where my master taught me how to read and write. But my
master’s husband probated her to teach me. So I gave away food in
exchange for reading and writing lesson. I knew how to read and write I
purchased a copy of THE COULMBIAN ORATOR. I was 13 by the way. I was
very good at giving speeches I also became a field worker. I was also a
freedom fighter. My challenges were to learn how to read and write. And
the most horrifying conditions in Easton. And when I was separated from
my mother. I was also a woman right’s fighter. Who am I? Fedrick
