Technology will continue to become more and more important in the classroom. The teacher will become more of a facilitator matching technologies with needs. The human factor can never leave the classroom, but it will change in the years ahead. Through technology we will have the ability to give every student one on one attention on a nearly constant basis. As knowledge increases, learning will also increase.
Hopefully, the teacher will continue to be the mentor and example for the students, to guide them in the correct way to use and apply that knowledge.

An example of where ITS seems to be going is at this site. You will find a mixture of AI, VR, ITS, and IAs. These acronyms will most probably be the new kids on the block of education in the years ahead. It is an exciting time to be an educator.
