We are thrilled that so many fourth and fifth
graders have tried out for the play this year. It will be so much fun.
Along with that fun comes hard work and commitment. We are all relying
on each other to be on time for practices and to commit to dress
rehearsals and the plays. If, for a very important reason, you need to
miss a practice, you must let us know in advance. The practice days
will be on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 and on Friday mornings
from 8:00-9:10. These practices will begin the week of October 30th and
will continue into mid-March. In March we will crank things up a bit.
Practices, the final whole dress rehearsals, the school plays and the
final plays will be on the following dates:
Monday, March 19th- 4:00-6:00
Tuesday, March 20th- 8:00-9:10
Wednesday, March 21st - 4:00-6:00

Mr. Umla will be adding vocal practices to each week’s schedule
beginning in December orJanuary.
Each student will be required to bring their
libretto, a pencil and all necessary materials to each practice. Each
student will be required to memorize lines on time.
Your teachers, many parents, and additional people
will be working hard to make this play a thrilling experience and
wonderful production.
We look forward to working with you all over the
next five months. Please refer to our website, created by the amazing
Mr. Cole, for schedules, costume designs (created by Ms. Knab) and
other valuable information. It is
