This washbowl is really special to me because I was with half of my
family when I got it. On the Titanic, the second class passengers
probably used this washbowl for washing hands and shaving. First
class probably did not have a washbowl because they had sinks with
running water. The picture above is not necessarily my washbowl,
but it is similar to it. Dr. Robert D. Ballard probably took this
picture. He was the second person to discover the Titanic and the
one who made the discovery realy famous. He was going down to
find a war submarine that had vanished and he found something
that was huge. He knew first, that it wasn't what he was looking
for. Then he realized it was the Titanic.
